Siddaramaiah falls in bathroom, injures rib cage

Bengaluru, Oct 17: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah sustained a fall in the bathroom on Thursday and injured his rib cage. But doctors declared him fit to work.

Siddaramaiah on Friday said he had slipped and fallen in the bathroom and injured the left side of his rib cage in the morning.

“I got a CT scan done... I am all right now,” he added. Despite the fall, Siddaramaiah travelled to Mandya.

But by evening, the pain aggravated and he made a visit to a private hospital in Basaveshwaranagar, where the doctors ruled out any serious injuries. He has been asked to use pain relief sprays, sources said.
