Mangalore, Mar 10: Two men, reportedly from an underworld gang, opened fire at a builder 's office at Bejai new road in Mangalore on Monday.
The men fired at Bharati Builder and Developers located at Bejai new road near Anegundi in the city.
The office is belonged to real-estate businessman Lokanath Shetty.
Around 11 a.m. two motorcycle-borne shooters opened fire at the office. Though nobody was injured in the incident, the glass panes of the office were shattered,, said eyewitnesses. Police found one bullet in the scene.
Earlier too, Lokanath had received threat calls from some unidentified men. He had filed complained at Urwa Police station as well to the Commissioner of Mangalore.
He had also complained to Home Minister K J George when the latter was in Mangalore sometimes ago.
