21 killed as clashes erupt between ISIS terrorists and Taliban

Kabul, Nov 3: At least 18 militants from Taliban and three from Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) were killed as deadly clashes erupted in the Easter Nangarhar province of Afghanistan on Saturday. 

The 201 Silab Corps of the Afghan Military have said in a statement that the latest clashes were erupted in Zawa area of Khogyani district, khama press reported.

Nangarhar has been among the relatively calm provinces in the eastern part of Afghanistan but the security situation in some of its remote districts has deteriorated during the recent years.

Both the Taliban militants and ISIS militants are active in some of its districts and often attempt to carry out terrorist related activities.

No militant organisation have commented on the incident so far.
