27-yr-old man killed in Bengaluru at his residence

Bengaluru, Jun 7: A 27-year-old man was allegedly killed using deadly weapons by unidentified people here, police said.

The incident took place at deceased, Arvind's rented house in LBS Nagar inside HAL police station limits.

According to police, Arvind is an accused in a criminal case and recently walked out of jail on bail.

Thiruvananthapuram, Jan 5: A 35-year-old woman in Kadakkavoor in Kerala's Thiruvananthapuram district was arrested under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act for allegedly raping her 14-year-old son, police said on Monday. This is the first such incident seen in the state.

The father had complained to the police that the boy's mother had been exploiting their son for quite some time.

A Kadakkavoor police station officer said that they had received a petition from the father and forwarded it to the Child Welfare Commission. They found that the woman has exploited her son and police then took the case and arrested her.

She was produced before a court which sent her to judicial custody and is now at the woman's prison, Thiruvananathapuram.

Tirupur, Jan 9: Suffering losses in online gaming has claimed the life of a 29-year old man in Tirupur district in Tamil Nadu, the police said on Saturday.

According to the police in Tirupur district, S. Elvin from Coimbatore had committed suicide two days back by jumping before a train after suffering losses to the tune of about Rs 7 lakh in online gaming. The deceased was identified on Friday.

An employee with a private company, Elvin had borrowed money from several persons and lost the same in online gaming. He was not able to repay the borrowed money.

Elvin's mother had lodged a missing person's compliant on January 6 with the Coimbatore police.

Badaun, Jan 6: Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) in Uttar Pradesh's Badaun has suspended an SHO for negligence in the rape and murder case of a woman after the postmortem report revealed that she was not only gang raped in a Hindu temple but also brutalized.

Superintendent of Police Siddharth Verma said, "The postmortem report confirmed the rape. A case has been registered against the three accused, including the Mahant of Dharmasthala under sections of gang rape and murder. Two accused have been arrested in the case. Some policemen have been negligent towards the case so the SHO has been suspended with immediate effect. Action will also be taken against other people who didn't perform their duties. The search for the main accused is on."

The victim went to worship at a temple in the nearby village on Sunday evening. At around 11 p.m., the caretaker of the temple threw the body of the victim outside her home and ran away. The children of the victim recognised the accused and informed the police.

1. If our India applies Islamic law then the accused should get capital punishment - then only we can control these type of rape and murder. Can anyone heard the same news in Islamic countries? No because of the strict law.
2. Ladies dress code is also a factor which makes the opposite sex to do this type of crime. It means Ladies who wear these type of dress also to be blamed.
3. Restriction of marriage for Temple priests. They are also human being and they should also be allowed to marry to fulfill their wishes.
