Akshay Kumar reprimands bodyguard, apologises to 'punched' fan

Mumbai, Apr 30: Sometime back, we showed you how Akshay Kumar's bodyguard had punched one of superstar's enthusiastic fans at the Mumbai airport. The fan, after seeing Akki, got excited and followed him to click a selfie with him and in the bargain, got hit by actor's personal security guard. The video got viral and Akshay grabbed headlines for the wrong reasons, thanks to his bodyguard.

However, the actor has now responded to the incident and has apologised to the fan who was punched by the superstar's bodyguard. The actor tweeted a long message wherein he has clarified his stance saying that he didn't know what exactly happened at the airport and after being informed about the whole fracas, he reprimanded the bodyguard and gave him a warning to never misbehave with his fans.

The 'Airlift' actor even apologised to his fan and said that he holds his fans and admirers in high esteem and will ensure that such incidents are not repeated in the future. Scroll down to read Akshay's official statement on the unfortunate incident.
