Bengaluru, Feb 26: Two people have been killed in Bengaluru when a water tanker ploughed through a group of pedestrians.
The incident occurred when the breaks of the water tanker failed.

Five people were walking on a footpath when the mishap occurred. Two people were killed and three others sustained injuries.
The deceased have been identified as Arpita (19) and Anand(25). The incident took place near Esteem Mall near Hebbal flyover.
The driver of the tanker has been arrested. The spot where the incident took place is on the busy airport road and no foot over bridge is available for pedestrians to cross the road.
