Mangaluru, Aug 6: The Dakshina Kannada unit of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has launched an anti-immoral policing' helpline, where public can seek help to fight against vigilante attackers.

The development comes in the wake of an illegal raid' carried out by the miscreants of Sri Ram Sene on St Thomas Aided Higher Primary School at Bondanthila in Mangaluru taluk to stop optional Arabic teaching class.
Shanthala Damle, AAP state co-convener and in-charge of Dakshina Kannada district, said that the party realised the need of such a helpline after this incident.
“In some cases the victims of immoral policing will hesitate to fight back. That should not happen. They can contact us and our volunteers will accompany them to the police station and provide all necessary help," he said.
