Bengaluru, Nov 7: The shooting of an action sequence for an upcoming Kannada movie turned tragic, when two actors who jumped off a copter into Tippagondanahalli reservoir, 35 km west of Bengaluru, were drowned on Monday afternoon.

The actors were filming the stunts for an upcoming filmMasti Gudi,' which stars Duniya Vijay in the lead role.

While filming the scene, Vijay and the two actors, Anil and Uday, jumped into the lake from a helicopter. While the lead actor swam ashore, the other two didn't surface for a long time, post which a search party was immediately dispatched.

However, the police and the film crew believe the chances of retrieving them are extremely slim.

The incident, which took place around 3 pm on Monday, allegedly happened due to inadequate safety precautions. Reportedly, there had been no prior rehearsal to gauge the safety risks, either.

While a team of expert swimmers are still trying to recover the two actors, they have not been able to retrieve anything. It is not known if the actors had access to safety harnesses, with reports alleging that a harness was provided only to the lead actor, Vijay. There are also reports saying the two missing actors Uday and Anil weren't expert swimmers. No ambulances or speedboats were on standby during the shoot.

Previously, yesteryear's Malayalam superstar Jayan had also died in a helicopter accident in 1980 during the making of the film,Kolilakkam'. Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan had also incurred a near fatal blow, rupturing his intestines, while filming a crucial action scene for his cult film, Coolie.

Im really wondering .. Look at their physics . They did a lot to look lyk that but did they ponder on the ONE who gave us this LIFE and takes this LIFE?????

But I remember what the Quran says ...
QURAN is a manual from the CREATOR to the whole of Mankind... and it explains in chapter imran verse 185 :
Every SOUL will taste DEATH, and YOU will only be given (full) Compensation on the day of Resurrection. So he who is drawn away from the Fire and admitted to PARADISE has attained (his desire) . And What is the life of this World except the enjoyment of delusion.

I request NON MUSLIMs to look for the QURAN (i Suggest TheQuranproject) online.. once in your lifetime... If what it says make sense with logic and reason ... U have the right to decide ... Dont just depend on fake media which is deviating people from the TRUTH .. KNOW your only ONE CREATOR b4 our (each and everyone's) time comes to the end.

Its good to be Fit but It says one thing, However FIT U R ... it will not protect U from the end time which our CREATOR has prescribed us.

Its pathetic....no provision of life saving arrangements....in English movies you can see lots of dangerous stunts, Indian movies are nothing....but casualties are very less....because they take precautions...

their family members must sue the producers and directors of movie.....it is their job to provide adequate safety and security....

Udupi: A 40-year-old NRI from Udupi has reportedly lost more than Rs 12.25 lakh in an online investment scam operated through Telegram.

According to a complaint filed at the CEN police station, Leo Jerome Mendonsa, who has been working in Dubai for the past 15 years in computer accessories sales, maintains NRI accounts in Karkala and Nitte.

On November 12, 2025, Mendonsa was added to a Telegram group called Instaflow Earnings by unknown individuals. Users identified as Priya and Dipannita persuaded him to invest in “Revenue Tasks.” Initially, Mendonsa transferred Rs 1,100 multiple times and received the promised returns, encouraging him to continue.

On November 14, another user, Nishmitha Shetty, directed him to register on a website, digitvisionuoce.cc, and invest Rs 4 lakh in various shares. Over the next few days, he made multiple transfers totaling Rs 12,25,000, including Rs 50,000 via Google Pay, believing the scheme was legitimate.

After receiving the money, the alleged handlers stopped responding, and neither the invested amount nor the promised profits were returned.

The CEN police have registered a case under Sections 66(C) and 66(D) of the IT Act and Section 318(4) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), and investigations are ongoing.
