Mangalore, March 21: Sleuths of Mangalore sub-division of department of excise on a tip off nabbed three persons who were trying to smuggle Goan liquor illegally to Kasargod in a car at Alape village at Padil on the outskirts of the city in the early hours of Wednesday.
The sleuths recovered 432 litres of liquor which the accused Vishwanath, Anil Kumar and Major of Kasargod were attempting to smuggle and seized the vehicle.
Estimated value of liquor and car seized has been put at Rs 3 lakh.
