Udupi, May 1: Thieves broke into a house at Salmar in Karkala and took away gold ornaments estimated at Rs. 1.45 lakh and Rs. 10,000 in cash.
The house belonged to one Srinivasa Acharya
According to the police, the theft took place between 7.45 a.m. on April 28 and 6.15 p.m. on April 29.
A case has been registered.
