Mangalore, June 2: An elderly person died on the spot after being knocked down by a speeding tipper near Granite Yard at Panambur on Friday.
The deceased was identified as Elias Rodriguez (82) of Padu Perara near Bajpe.
An eye witness told the police that a speeding tipper from Granite Yard Knocked down the pedestrian.
A case was registered against tipper driver Chandran at Panambur Police station.
