Deepika Padukone To Make A Hollywood Debut With Fast And Furious 7

Actress Deepika Padukone is indeed having an immensely successful year. After creating a hattrick at the box office with 2 consecutive films of her crossing the coveted 100 crore mark at the box office, the actress has received great praises for her performances in both Yeh jawaani hai Deewani and Chennai express from critics. But that’s not all. The actress is going places beyond the domestic arena and has been brought on board for the next edition of one of Hollywood’s most successful franchises

According to a leading daily, Deepika has bagged a significant role in Vin Diesel’s humongously popular franchise Fast and Furious’ 7th Edition. The news of Chitrangada Singh and Kangana Ranaut being considered for the role was doing rounds, however Deepika was finally zeroed by the film’s makers.

Expected to play a significant character in the thriller series, the actress will star alongside Vin Diesel, Jason Statham and Dwayne Johnson. Currently she is shooting in Dubai for Farah Khan’s Happy New Year with Shah Rukh Khan and is slated to sign the project soon.
