Salman Khan’s ‘Bigg Boss 14’ to premiere on October 3

Mumbai, Sept 14: Superstar Salman Khan will return with season 14 of the hit reality show Bigg Boss on October 3, the makers have announced.

TV channel Colors shared the premiere date of the upcoming season on its official Twitter and Instagram pages.

“2020 ki har problem ko chaknachoor karne aa gaya hai #BiggBoss! #BB14 Grand Premiere, 3rd Oct, Saturday raat 9 baje, sirf #Colors par. Catch #BiggBoss2020 before TV on @vootselect,” the post read.

The makers also shared a video of Khan announcing the premiere date of the reality show, which he has been hosting since its fourth season in 2010.

The first promo of Bigg Boss 14 was released last month. It was shot at the 54-year-old actor’s Panvel farmhouse during the Covid-19 lockdown.

Details about the new season's theme and contestants are currently under wraps.

Actor Siddharth Shukla was the winner of the last season of the reality series, which aired from September 2019 to February this year.

New Delhi, Oct 27: Actor Kareena Kapoor Khan, who is expecting her second child, was on Tuesday seen flaunting her baby bump while working on an upcoming project with her celebrity sister Karisma Kapoor.

Karisma took to Instagram to post a short boomerang video featuring herself along with the 'Mom-to-be' getting ready for the shoot.

The video sees Kareena seated in front of the mirror while a make-up artist stands right beside her and Karisma is seen capturing the moment in the mirror.

The celebrity sisters can be seen winning on twinning as they sport white solid T-shirts.

"Working with the sis always the best #sistersquad #behindthescenes," Karisma wrote in the caption.

The 'Jab We Met,' actor who is expecting her second child is mother to a three-year-old baby boy Taimur Ali Khan.

Mumbai, Oct 26: An acrimonious back-and-forth between Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and Kangana Ranaut has hit a brand new low. The actor right this moment hit out on the Chief Minister in a collection of tweets.

On Sunday, Uddhav Thackeray had attacked “those who abuse Mumbai by calling it Pakistan Occupied Kashmir”, with out naming Kangana Ranaut.

“People who have no means of livelihood in their home come to Mumbai and betray it. Calling Mumbai PoK is in fact the failure of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He had said he would get back PoK into India,” Mr Thackeray mentioned, including that Maharashtra-haters had left no stone unturned in defaming the state.

“Mumbai is PoK, there are drug addicts everywhere – they are painting such a picture. They don’t know in our house we grow tulsi, not ganja (marijuana). Ganja fields are in your state, you know where, not in our Maharashtra,” he remarked.

In response, Kangana Ranaut known as the Chief Minister the “worse product” of nepotism.

“(Sanjay) Raut called me Haramkhor now Uddhav (Thackeray) called me namak-haram (treacherous), he is claiming I won’t get food in my state if Mumbai does not give me shelter, shame on you I am your son’s age this is how you speak to a self made single woman, Chief Minister you are the worse product of nepotism,” the actor mentioned.

“Chief Minister I am not drunk on my father’s power and wealth like you, if I wanted to be a nepotism product I could have stayed back in Himachal, I hail from a renowned family, I didn’t want to live off on their wealth and favours, some people have self respect and self worth (sic).”

Kangana Ranaut had final month lashed out on the Chief Minister in a video addressing him as “tu” (an off-the-cuff model of you).

Their sparring started when the 33-year-old outspoken actor accused Mr Thackeray’s Shiv Sena, which heads the Maharashtra authorities and controls the Mumbai civic physique, of concentrating on her in a confrontation over the Sushant Singh Rajput case. Panaji, Oct 28: The Goa government on Wednesday asked filmmaker Karan Johar's Dharma Productions to tender an apology for "littering" at a village in the state during a film shoot recently and said that if the company fails to do so, a fine would be imposed on it.

A controversy has erupted after residents of Nerul in North Goa uploaded videos showing the waste, allegedly generated by the crew of an upcoming Deepika Padukone-starrer film, dumped in their village after the shooting got over last week.

After the issue was highlighted on social media, the state-run Entertainment Society of Goa (ESG) on Tuesday issued a show-cause notice to the lines producer hired by Dharma Productions.

Talking to reporters, Goa's Waste Management Minister Michael Lobo on Wednesday said the director or owners of Dharma Productions should apologise to the people of the state for littering the place and leaving it without cleaning it.

"Tender an apology on Facebook that it was an error and accept the fault. If they don't do it, we will find them. My department will impose a fine on Dharma Productions," he said.

Actor Kangana Ranaut took to Twitter to lash out at the film production houses for the "irresponsible behaviour".

"Movie industry is not a virus just for the moral fibre n culture of this nation but it has become very destructive and harmful for the environment also, @PrakashJavdekar ji @moefccAsee this disgusting, filthy, irresponsible behaviour by so-called big production houses, pls help," she said in the tweet.

Meanwhile, Dilip Borkar, the lines producer hired by the production house, said that the movie was shot in a villa in Nerul.

"The garbage collected daily after the shoot was dumped at a site designated by the local panchayat. It was regularly collected by the contractor except on Sunday when it kept lying there and videos of it were shot and uploaded on social media," he added.
