Five students from TAPMI get Etihad Airways placement offers

Manipal, Jan 29: As many as five students of T A Pai Management Institute (TAPMI) have got international placements this year.

In a press release issued here, Chowdari Prasad, Chairman (Admissions) and Dean (PR) at the institute said that Etihad Airways offered five international placements with the highest package of Rs. 47.09 lakh per annum. “The faith in the PGP (Post-Graduate Programme) of TAPMI saw a tremendous response and support from the recruiters,” he said.

TAPMI's management graduates were offered jobs by various sectors such as consulting, FMCG, insurance, IT, e-commerce, telecom, media, confectionary, manufacturing, airways, banking and finance, textile, BPO and logistics. This year saw a significant increase in the number of firms vying to tap the talent on campus, which is a sign of trust by corporate houses and opportunity for students of PGDM (postgraduate diploma in management) in the institute.

TAPMI's placement reports are audited by rating agency Crisil as per the Indian Placement Reporting Standards (IPRS), of which TAPMI is a founding member.
