Ornaments, cash stolen from NRI's house

Kasaragod, Sep 23: Burglars decamped with gold ornaments and cash after breaking open a house at Manjeswaram, the police said. The house belonged to Ismail, who is employed in the Gulf.

The burglary in the Badaje locality came to notice on Thursday morning after his family members returned from a relative’s house, where they had gone to participate in a religious ceremony two days ago.

The robbers entered the house by breaking open the front door and looted the valuables kept in a cupboard.

A team of police officials headed by Manjeswaram Sub-Inspector P. Pramod inspected the house .
