Mangaluru, Aug 1: Aishwarya Mallikarjun has won the Benedryl Big Golden voice Mangalore regional round held on Saturday at Roshni Nilayala School of Social Work in the city. She has been nominated for the next round to be held in Mumbai. Lasya Updhaya became the runner up.
In its third year, Big Golden voice is a unique, first-of-its-kind radio based singing talent hunt conducted across 92.7 BIG FM's 45 stations and first time ever in International countries where celebrity judge and mentor Shankar Mahadevan is looking for the Benadryl Big Golden Voice of the country who gets a chance to debut as a playback singer in Bollywood. A two month long activity that not only encourages local talent from socio cultural regions but also provides them with the opportunity to bring out their best.
The top 12 city winners from across the nation will be called to Mumbai for the next round. The winner of Benedryl Big Golden Voice will get a chance to work with composer-vocalist Shankar Mahadevan. Last edition’s winner Sayani Palit wins opportunity to sing for Kangana Ranaut’s upcoming movie ‘Katti Batti’.
