Mangaluru, Jun 15: 'Talent Academic Excellence' awards were conferred to students from the Muslim community who had scored highest marks in SSLC, PUC and CET final examinations in the previous academic year in a programme organised by Talent Research Foundation in the auditorium hall in the city recently.

A total of 18 students including six SSLC students, three students each from Science, Commerce and Arts section in II PUC as well as three students who scored highest marks in CET examination were felicitated in the award presentation programme with an award certificate, memento and cash prizes.
The award presentation programme was inaugurated by Badruddin Panambur, chairman of Noorul Huda educational institution in Katipalla.
Mansoor Ahmed from Azad Hardware, Raheem, owner of Singapore City complex, Asghar Haji, Managing Director of Deccan Plast, Basheer Kota, Kundapur Rotary Club president, Sulaiman Sheikh Beluvai and B A Akbar Ali were the chief guests on the occasion.
Founder-president of Talent Research Foundation Abdul Raouf Puthige presided over the programme. On the occasion, award recipients, their parents and teachers spoke and shared their opinion with the audience.
Abdul Hameed welcomed the gathering while Danish Kalladka proposed a vote of thanks.
