Mangaluru, Sept 22: A non-resident Indian hailing from Bajpe on the outskirts of the city has gone missing under mysterious circumstances a month after he returned from Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The missing person is Sameer, son of Ahmed Saheb from Bajpe. Sameer has been working in Saudi Arabia for almost 10 years. He had returned home on August 17 this year on vacation.
While Sameer’s father has filed a missing complaint at the Bajpe police station, former’s wife Firdouse has alleged that he has broken ties with the family as he developed an affair with another woman.
In his complaint lodged on September 20, Ahmed Saheb said that Sameer reportedly travelled to Bengaluru along with his wife and three-month-old child on September 13 on the pretext of an interview. While the couple stayed for a few days there, on September 18, Firdouse, along with her child, travelled to her parents’ house in Kaup, and alleged that Sameer had broken ties with her and sent her back from Bengaluru.
