Mangaluru, May 4: Ten bogies of the Lokamanya Tilak Terminus-Ernakulum Duronto Express derailed near Balli railway station in South Goa on Sunday, but no casualties have been reported so far.

Ghatge said that the trains on Konkan Railway routes will be delayed due to the derailment, while work is on to salvage the bogies which went off the track.
Following the derailment, several trains have either been rescheduled or diverted or cancelled.
Train No. 22635 Madgaon-Mangaluru Intercity Express, 10215 Madgaon-Ernakumal Junction Express, 56641 Madgaon-Mangaluru Passenger and 12224 Ernakulam Junction-LTT Express, all leaving their respective originating points on Sunday, have been cancelled.
The Mangaluru-Madgaon-Mangaluru Passenger would remain cancelled on Monday too since its rake was used as a special train to ferry Duranto passengers to Ernakulam. However, Mangaluru-Madgaon-Mangaluru Intercity Express would operate as usual on Monday.
Train No. 56640 Mangaluru Central-Madgaon passenger was terminated at Karwar; 12133 Mumbai CSTM-Mangaluru Junction Express that left Mumbai on Saturday was terminated at Madgaon and Train No. 12134 Mangaluru Junction-Mumbai CSTM Express leaving Mangaluru Junction on Sunday afternoon was cancelled between Mangaluru Junction and Madgaon.
Train No. 16337 Okha-Ernakulam Junction biweekly Express of Saturday; 02065 Mumbai CSTM-Ernakulam Junction Premium Special of Sunday; 22634 Nizamuddin-Thiruvananthapuram Central Weekly Express of Friday; 11097 Pune-Ernakulam Junction Poorna Express and 16312 Kochuveli-Bikaner Junction Express of Saturday are being diverted via Madgaon, Londa, Hubballi, Hassan and Mangaluru Junction.
