Mangaluru, Apr 1: A hotelier from Mangaluru has killed himself in Vijayapura after he suffered huge loss due to covid-19.
The deceased has been identified as Ganesh, owner of Amar Hotel at Indi in Vijayapura.
It is said that he had borrowed a loan of Rs 30 lakh to run the hotel. He was finding it difficult to pay the interest on the loan. At the same time, the business of the hotel was also down after the pandemic according to the suspicion of the police.
Indi city police station personnel did the spot inspection and registered a case in this connection.
