Training programme on Hajj pilgrimage held in city

Mangalore, September 20: A large number of Muslim men and women of coastal district, who are set to embark on a Hajj pilgrimage within a couple of weeks, attended a special training programme on Tuesday at Zeenath Bakhsh Yatheem Khana in the city.

The programme was organised by the management committee of Zeenath Bakhsh Yatheem Khana for Hajj pilgrims of the city and surrounding areas, in order to practically guide and train the future Hajees how to perform Hajj.

Mangalore Qazi Thwaqa Ahmed Musliyar inaugurated the programme and offered Du'a in a worshipful tone. He also prayed for the peace and harmony in the region.

Speaking on the occasion he laid emphasis on the significance of Hajj. He said that those Muslims who do not perform Hajj despite having wealth, health and opportunity, will not be entitled to the grace of Allah.

Abu Sufiyan Madani, State President of SYS and Dr. Hazrath Moulana Muhammad Fazil Razvi, State President of SSF, explained the Faraiz and Sunnah of the Hajj to the audience in Beary and Urdu languages respectively.

Nearly three hundred people including women participated in the day long camp. The organisers had also arranged lunch for the participants of the camp.
