Mangalore, September 24: An accomplice of Madooru Isubu, who is in custody for his alleged links with notorious underworld kingpin Chota Shakil was arrested by Bajpe police on Thursday night.
The accused is Mohammad Iqbal alias Iqbal (30) from Shanthinagar near Kavoor.
A case had been booked against him at the police station for extortion a month back.
He was produced before a local court on Friday. The judge remanded him to judicial custody for 15 days.
