Mangalore September 25: As many as 273 candidates were appointed on the spot at the 32nd Skill Development and Employment Mela organised by the Skill Development Corporation, Employment and Training Department, Karnataka Job Training and Skill Development board here on Saturday.
As many as 88 employers participated in the Employment Mela, which attracted over 1737job aspirants.
Over 580 candidates were shortlisted for the final round of interview. More than 584 candidates were selected for skilled training.
Labour Minister B N Bacche Gowda and District Minister Krishna J Palemar will disburse employment certificate to those who secured jobs on Sunday.
