Thiruvananthapuram, September 26: A school van carrying 23 children plunged into a river near Thiruvananthapuram on Monday evening.
According to reports, three children have been killed and 20 others have been rescued.
All students of the Jyothi Nilayam School were aged below 12 years, said Nedumangad constituency legislator Palode Ravi.
Police and fire brigade teams are conducting salvage and rescue operations.
