Chess Association of India's South Zone tournament from Oct 10

Mangalore, October 8: King's Academy, Mangalore on behalf of Karnataka State Chess Association, under the aegis of Chess Association of India will organise Rs.2 lakh prize money CAI Rated South Zone Chess Tournament from October 10 to 14 at Srinivasa Kalyan Mantap, here.

The tournament winner will be awarded Rs.25,000 cash prize along with 'Panama trophy'. Top 50 players will be awarded cash prizes. Cash prizes will be also awarded to Age groups, Women and veteran categories.

The event is co-sponsored by Panama Group, Mangalore.

Players from Karnataka, Tamilnadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Lakshadweep and Pondichery are eligible to participate.
