October 9, 2011

Mangalore, September 9: Konkani film 'Ujwaadu' with characters close to real life will break all language barriers and appeal to all, said Kasargod Chinna, the director of the film.

The film, which has dialogues in Mangalore Konkani dialect, will be released in the city on October 15.

Addressing media persons here he exuded confidence that his first directorial venture with a strong message, how elderly people are the light of our lives, will be accepted in the manner how the audience lapped up the block-buster Tulu film, 'Oriodari Asal'.

He also recollected how Telugu film 'Shankarabaranam' ran to packed houses in Mangalore.

“Tulu film, paying tributes to my teachers from film industry, has made no comprises on quality and was completed on a budget of Rs 40 lakh”, Chinna informed.

“If the audience steps out of the theatre with a lingering feeling of having visited a GSB colony, I will have a satisfaction of having done a neat job”, he stressed.
