Mangalore, December 8: As part of 'Jeernodhara and 'Punah Prathishta' (renovation and restoration) programme of Sri Venkatramana Temple located at car street, here, a new flag pole was erected on the Temple premises on Wednesday.
The formal 'Prathishtapane' of the flag pole will be conducted on January 24 in the presence of Kashi Mutt pontiff Shreemad Sudheendra Theertha Swamiji.
The temple chief C L Shenoy , Nithyanand Nayak, Madhav Kamath and Jeernodhara committee president M Padmanabha Pai, Sathish Nayak and Jeevan Raj were present.
