Hajj, Umrah training camp held in city

Mangalore, September 12: A training camp on Hajj and Umrah was organised by Zeenat Baksh Yateem Khana on Tuesday at the Yateem Khana Hall in the city.

 

Inaugurating the training camp, Qazi of Mangalore Thwaka Ahmed Musliyar said that the pilgrims should practice restraint from bad conduct, purity in thoughts and speech. It would be more meaningful if they gave preference to helping fellow pilgrims.

 

Training on performing Hajj and Umrah was given in Urdu by Muhammad Fazil Razvi and in Beary language by S P Hamza Saqafi.

 

Karnataka State Waqf Board member Muhammed Kunhi and Dakshina Kannada district Waqf Advisory Committee Chairman Usman were the chief guests on the occasion.

 

Yateem Khana President B M Basheer Ahmed, Vice President Ibrahim Bawa and Secretary T Mustafa were present.
