St. Mary's School from Udupi came a close second in the two day event comprises of an array of contests, skill development activities.
Senior Advocate and President of Mangalore Bar Association, Ashok Ariga distributed the prizes at the valedictory function in presence of President of Gujarathi Mahajan Association, Hirubhai H Baldev.
The competitive events include Essay Writing, Jest A Minute (JAM), Quiz, Spell-It, What's The Good Word, Debate, Poster Making, Dumb Charades and Group Dance.
CIL Fest was inaugurated on Saturday by Mangalorean youth icons artist and national winner of Design contest `Doodle 4 Google, Akshay Raj and International level Chess star Viani D'Cunha.
The fest was unique as it is being organized by the student volunteers of CIL and Gujarathi School, thus making the event `By the Students, For the Students and Of the Students'. Most of the competitive events in CIL Fest 2012 are generally conducted in the college level which is introduced at the school level, which made the event further more interesting.
