Mangalore, May 8: He quit his meritorious public service job just to contest the polls and the voters of Mangalore South Assembly constituency, did not let him down.
Surprisingly, this political novice defeated none other than BJP's four-time MLA N Yogish Bhat by 11610 votes.
While Mr Bhat spent four terms only giving assurances and making dream plans, the voters have given the opportunity to Congress candidate John Richard Lobo, popularly known as J R Lobo, to fulfill those promises and execute those plans.
One has to only wait and watch as to what Mr Lobo will make out of this opportunity to serve people.
