All the15 have been charged of cheating, fraud, breach of trust etc.
The complaint has been filed by M/S Benefit Entertainment Ltd against 15 accused including four of the Mangalore Catholic Co-op bank Ltd and 11 of Samudra Vividhoddesha Sahakara Sangha Ltd. in the court of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Mangalore.
In the complaint, the complainant M/s. Benefit Entertainments (India) Ltd. has submitted that all the 15 accused are guilty of offence of breach of trust, cheating, falsification of documents, forgery with intention to cheat and defraud and has also said that the accused have misused their powers and made duplicate Fixed Deposits of Rs. 60 Lakhs of Samudra Vividhoddesha Sahakara Sangha Ltd. and fraudulently deposited these fixed Deposits with The MCC bank by making false documents without the knowledge and consent of the complainant.
The matter has been assigned to the Investigating Officer, PSI, Mr. MC Madan to investigate. So far, no arrest has been made in this case.
