Devotees take holy dip at Narahari Parvatha on 'Aati Amavasye'

Bantwal, Aug 6: Hundreds of devotees thronged the Karinjeshwara temple and Narahari Parvatha in Bantwal here on Tuesday to take holy dip in the ponds on the occasion of 'Aati Amavasye'.

The devotees especially newlyweds thronged both the temples starting from 4 a.m.

A few devotees ailing from asthma offered coir ropes as offering to the temple and others offered beetle-leaves with areca nuts into the temple lakes and had a holy dip.

The KSRTC offered special service to facilitate to the devotees.

BJP District President K Padmanabha Kottary, Temple Committee President Dr Prashant Marla and others were present.
