Belagavi, Dec 18: Many Congress legislators, who were visible upset over the way the JD(S)-Congress coalition government in Karnataka was shaping, poured their grievances before the state leaders at the Congress Legislature Party meeting held here today.
Speaking to reporters after the meeting, CLP leader Siddaramaiah admitted that some MLAs were unhappy as Congress with 88 members in the 224-member house did not get its due in the government despite being the dominant partner and JD(S) with just 38 members calling the shots.
The meeting virtually turned out to be a forum for the Congress legislators air the grievances and many senior members openly expressed their dissatisfaction over the much delayed cabinet expansion, party sources said.
