Udupi, Oct 22: Those who want to work in Saudi Arabia and other Middle Eastern countries should make thorough enquiries before accepting the job and leaving the country instead of repenting later, said Dr Sanjeev M Patil, superintended of police of Udupi.
Speaking to media persons during the weekly phone-in programme in his office Dr Patil also urged the Gulf aspirants not to get carried away by promises by the agents and travel firms.
He said that the Indian embassy in Riyadh had sent a letter to this effect. Many people are being cheated by agents. If anyone had any complaint against any agent, they could approach the police and action would be taken, he said.
