Udupi, Jun 2: Lifeguards rescued a person from drowning at the Kaup beach in Udupi district on Friday. According to the Kaup police, the person rescued was about 50 years. He was allegedly drunk and his name and other details could not be procured. He was rushed to the District Government Hospital in Udupi for treatment. No case had been registered as yet, the police said.
