New Delhi, July 31: Irfan Pathan may have been a last-minute inclusion in the Indian ODI team currently touring Sri Lanka, but with his all-round performance in the third ODI against Sri Lanka has brought him in reckoning for a World T20 berth.
A source in the team management indicated that Pathan's recent performances in Sri Lanka has been satisfying and if he can continue to contribute the way he is doing right now, his chances of making it to the Indian squad for the World T20 is certain.
In recent years, Pathan has been in and out of the Indian team. So far in the ODI series against Sri Lanka, Pathan has grabbed three wickets, but it was his match-winning partnership with Suresh Raina on Saturday that has made the maximum impact on the selectors.
