Dhaka (Bangladesh) November 17: Tino Best claimed five wickets and Veerasammy Permaul took three to help the West Indies clinch the first test against Bangladesh by 77 runs at Dhaka’s Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium on Saturday.
Bangladesh needed 245 runs to win the game, but they were dismissed for 167 well ahead of the scheduled stumps after the collapse of its top and middle order.
Mahmudullah was the high scorer with 29 for Bangladesh.
Best returned bowling figures of 5-24, while Permaul took 3-32. Ravi Rampaul chipped in with 2-32.
