Manglauru, Nov 15: PACE group, which heads P A College of Engineering, Mangaluru, and 13 other educational institutions across the globe, has entered the Guinness book of world records for ‘the largest human image of a boat’.

Revealing this at a press meet here on Wednesday M Abdul Salam, CEO of PACE group said that the event was held on November 14, on behalf of Children's Day at India International School, Sharjah, a sister concern of P.A. College of Engineering and was attended by 4,882 students from 12 different nations and representatives of various institutions under PACE Group.
The adjudicator for Guinness World Records Ahmed Gabr called the event 'amazing', he said. Abdulla Ibrahim, Executive Director of PACE group, Dr Abdul Sharief, Principal PACE and Surfraz J Hashim, Director (Academics), PACE, were present at the press meet.
A press release issued by the institution stated that the successful endeavor was the prolific result of an ardent vision of Dr P A Ibrahim Haji, the Chairman of PACE Group, Mr. Abdulla Ibrahim (Executive Director) and Dr Abdul Salam (CEO of PACE Group and Ex Vice Chancellor, Calicut University) and the directors from PACE Group Mr Salman Ibrahim, Mr Zubair Ibrahim, Mr Asif Mohammed and the untiring efforts of the staff and students.
The PACE group headed by educationist Dr P A Ibrahim Haji manages 14 educational institutions in India, UAE and Kuwait with a student strength of 20,000. The group is dedicated to promote an effective learning environment that encourages excellence and diversity in thoughts and endeavor.
The PACE group caters to the educational needs of the common group of around 25 nationalities and it’s committed to building institutions that would enhance the quality of education around the world. PACE aims to set up modern educational institutions following high demand from parents alongside the respect and reputations its institutions have gained over the years, the release sated.
