Bangalore, May 9: Parents of aspiring students gathered outside Christ College to protest the admission process followed by the University for its BBA and BBA-LLB courses.
The University had conducted a All India Level Entrance Exam on 26th April and thereafter conducted micro presentation and personal interview (MP & PI) for all the candidates.
The University then issued a notice announcing that the exam conducted on April 26 should be regarded as Session I and another Session would be held before May 26th. It also stated that both the Sessions would be independent and no carry forward of the Merit list would take place.
The parents alleged that the university had conducted two independent exams for one admission process and some even suggested that the university was holding two rounds of exams as a possible method to fleece aspiring students.
With no common admission process for Commerce and Arts streams, they alleged that Universities were getting away with unfair admission practices and requested concerned authorities to resolve the issue.
