Ranbir Kapoor feels jealous of good performances by colleagues

Mumbai, Jun 9: Ranbir Kapoors’ recent films might not be able to do well at the box office, but he is always acclaimed for his performances. He not only works hard for every role but also feels jealous when his contemporaries deliver a good performance. The Bombay Velvet star confessed, “When I see a good performance by any of my contemporaries, or my seniors, I feel jealous”.

The Barfi! Actor said, “I have a lot of interest in what’s happening in the film industry. I always want to know what films are happening and what work my contemporaries are doing. This is because I have a competitive streak in me, and it’s not in a negative way. That streak inspires me and pushes me to do better in my films. And when I see a good performance by any of my contemporaries, or my seniors, I feel jealous”.

The Rockstar further added, “I feel jealous in a way that I think, ‘Why am I not a part of this film?’ I’m not a recluse in a way that I shut off from the world and sit at home. I’m aware of what’s happening around me”.
