Mumbai, Jan 27: Shah Rukh Khan has big plans for US President Barack Obama.
On a day when Obama mentioned him as one of the inspirations for Indians and quoted a dialogue from his film, the actor said in a tweet, "Proud 2 b part of the gender & religion equality speech of Pres. Obama. Sad he couldn't do the Bhangra...next time Chaiyya Chaiyya for sure."
Obama was speaking at his townhall meeting at Siri Fort auditorium, "Indians and Americans are some of the hardest working people on earth. People like Shah Rukh Khan, Milkha Singh and Mary Kom inspire people."
The President, who has been using a smattering of Hindi in his speeches throughout his three-day landmark visit to India, even used a dialogue from Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge to the delight of his audience.
"Senorita...bade bade deshon mein...you know what I mean," he said with a smile.
Obama, who was on a three-day visit of India, concluded his trip on Tuesday. During the trip, he became the first US president to attend the Republic Day celebrations and the first president to visit India twice while still in office.
