Look here folks, we are here today thanks to our ancestors who helped form our identity. It is singularly due to the Wodeyar dynasty that southern India held up against foreign powers almost entirely through history. Forget not that the Wodeyars are the reason that Karnataka holds such an important place in present day India, be it in infrastructure, in education or in employment. Those parts of Karnataka which lag were in fact administered by the Nizam of Hyderabad till 1950s... Thus, it is imperative that in the present democratic setup, the Government of Karnataka listen to the people of the original 13 districts of Mysore Samrajya and thus shower taxpayers income on the Wadeyar representative of Yaduvamsha so that traditions may be continued without personal burden to them. Only that way can we express our gratitude in the 21st C to this family for having carried the torch of freedom, art, culture and pride for 600+ years.
