Water is a natural resource, we cannot stop utilizing it... it is from GOD. we should not stop sharing among each other.. There are many verses in the Holy Quraan Allah SWT said
\And not alike are the two bodies of water. One is fresh and sweet, palatable for drinking, and one is salty and bitter\" (SURA FATIR -12)
\"And have given you to drink sweet water\" (SURA AL MURSALAT-27)"
