Good move by BCCI. Arati Krishnan Vice president NRI commission govt. of Karnataka to be visited Kerala and to be studied how Kerala govt. formed a welfare forum NORKA (Non residence Kerala Affairs) and the Keralite getting maximum benefits from various schemes implemented for Kerala NRI's in the GCC countries. We GCC NRI's contributed a lot in the growth of GDP of our country by remitting crores of rupees to our country. It is the responsibility of the govt to work for the welfare of expat NRI's. Last year on behalf of all Kannaddiga and on behalf of all Karnataka based organizations we submitted a memorandum to the visiting ministers and MLA's to implement NORKA (Non residence Karnataka affairs) welfare scheme to implement and also whenever they visited Saudi Arabia we reminded again and again personally but we only got promises. We can not understand what difficulty our govt to have to implement the welfare scheme for NRIK expats.
