Bengaluru, Nov 20: Two business management students were killed and three injured when the car in which they were travelling rammed a roadside tree near Chandapura on the city’s outskirts on Thursday.

According to the police, the accident happened while they were returning home after celebrating Krishna’s birthday. After the party, around 4.30 a.m., Krishna, who was reportedly in an inebriated state, offered to drop others in a car.
A few passers-by, who noticed the accident, rushed them to a nearby hospital. Dhruva and Ashwin were declared brought dead. The injured are said to be in a critical condition.
“It was found that they had consumed alcohol and the vehicle was going at a high speed. We are yet to trace the owner of the car, which bears a Rajasthan registration number,” said a senior police officer.
