Mangalore, May 30: Jamiyyatul Falah, Mangalore corporation unit, organized a Common Entrance Test seat selection process awareness camp for minority students who have passed the CET for entry into professional courses.
Nearly 200 students from various parts of coastal districts of Dakshina Kannada and Udupi took part in the day-long camp recently held at JF Community Centre, Mangalore.
Resources persons Prof. Sarfaraz, Head of the Department of Physics, Dr Beeran Moideen, director, Centre for Management, PA College of Engineering and Prof. Nabeel, Department of Chemistry gave guidance to the students and clarified their doubts.
Information about scholarship, loans from various department of govt. as well as training about motivating to take up the challenges and identifying the hidden potentials, and also careers prospects after II PU & CET were given to students by resource persons.
JF president Saduddin M Salih presided over the programme. General secretary Nazeer Ahmed, Treasurer Ibrahim Kodichal were present.
JF city unit president Imthiyaz Ahmed recited the Quranic verses and welcomed the gathering. Secretary Muhammad Ashraf compered the programme and proposed vote of thanks.
