Mangaluru, Dec 11: The Nitte-based NMAM Institute of Technology (NMAMIT) has entered into an agreement with the Ritsumeikan University, Japan for academic exchange between the two educational institutions.
A press release issued by the NMAMIT here said that as per the agreement, students of NMAMIT had been selected for an exchange program called ‘Sakura Exchange Programme in Sciences 2015’ which would he held at the Ritsumeikan University from December 14 to 22.
Dhanush Kumar, Rahul N.K., Veekshith Kumar Rai, Ankitha Shanbhogue, Sadguna M. Shetty, all B.E. students of Department of Civil Engineering; Shreesha Rao, an M.Tech student at Department of Biotechnology; and Ganga Gamana, Jane Maureen J., Ragini Ashok N., all B.E. students of Department of Biotechnology, will represent the NMAMIT at Ritsumeikan University.
Anil Kumar H.S., Associate Professor, Department of Biotechnology, and Shridhara T.N., Associate Professor, Department of Civil Engineering, will lead the team of Japan.
