Bengaluru, Oct 5: Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) sleuths today raided on two Karnataka Government officers including Karnataka Industrial Area Development Board (KIADB), Chief Development Officer T R Swamy and N G Gowdaiah, Engineer Officer-5, Bengaluru Development Authority (BDA).
According to a ACB Press release the raids were conducted at 8 places simultenously including offices, residences and properties in the city and Tumakuru, about 60 km from here on Friday.
The raids were conducted following ACB receiving complaints to the effect that the officials have amassed wealth disproportionate to their known sources of income.
The raids are continuing and cash, jewels and properties in the benami were unearthed and further investigation is in progress.
ACB Inspector General Chandrasekhar, who visited the raiding places told newsmen declined to give details about raid as it will affect future investigation.
