Dubai, Jan 18: The Air India Express has decided to launch two nonstop flights from South Indian port city of Mangaluru to Abu Dhabi and Muscat, fulfilling the long-pending demand of expatriates from coastal Karnataka working in United Arab Emirates and Sultanate of Oman.

Even though four flights a week are operating on each of these routs with one stop, the demand for nonstop flight has increased in recent months.
The non-stop flight will fly from Abu Dhabi to Mangaluru on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. It will depart Abu Dhabi International Airportat 2:20 a.m. local time and reach Mangaluru at 7:30 a.m. The same flight will take off from Mangaluru Airport at 11 p.m. and reach Abu Dhabi at 1.05 a.m.
The non-stop flight from Oman will leave Muscat International Airport at 3:30 p.m. and reach Mangaluru at 8:30 p.m. local time on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. From Mangaluru the flight will take off at 10:05 a.m. and reach Muscat at 2:40 p.m.
