Why redundant & under performed staff only ?? Who will assess the "redundancy and performance" ???

The need of the hour is to reduce the retirement/superannuation age of all govt. servants both in central and in states, to a suitable level - say 56 or 57. There are unemployed youths in crores in our country - why should they be deprived of the privilege of "working and earning" when lakhs of govt. personnel are enjoying earnings till the age of 58/60 and thereafter (extended service etc.)

For a gentleman, service upto 56/57 is enough to earn his livelihood and save something for his future and for his offsprings. Let this facility be extended to all in the country rather than a few earning till such a period as the please with the backing of their "bosses and political leaders".

On a wider perspective, it should be the Country's aim to enforce this retirement age to all politicians and political postings too, say it should be at the maximum age of 58. Those who still desire to work for the "society" can do so by engaging themselves in social service for no remuneration.

Ps: I voluntarily left the job at the age of 57 from private sector.
